Teen Faith Formation

“Dear young people… It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise…It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” (JPII, WYD 2000)

Mission: Our Mission here at St. Joseph’s Youth Ministry is to create a safe space for teens to ask questions and be their selves in the presence of our Lord. To empower them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. To encourage them to participate in the life, mission, and work of the Church.

St. Joseph's High School Youth Programs

Youth Group Ministry

From August-May, High Schoolers join us Sundays after the 5pm Mass in the JP II Building Youth Room for fun, food, fellowship and strengthening your relationship with Jesus Christ!! (See bulletin for Summer schedule!)

Teens in Middle School (6th-8th grade) and High School

“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up”
Deuteronomy 6: 6-7

Teens will meet once a week for both large group talks and small group interaction. This helps the teens connect with their peers, strengthen their relationship with Christ and prepare them to live as disciples.
